Stone Rest Bed & Breakfast Inn is set in
the country within the tranquil beauty of the
hills of southern Indiana. We feel that we
will provide a calm center in the storm of a
busy world. We serve good wholesome
simple cuisine, "leaving the product whole
and combining the ingredients just so."
A stay at our inn goes hand in hand with
an appreciation of our natural surroundings.
With 150 acres for your pleasure, we offer
our 6 acre abundantly stocked fishing lake,
hiking trails, woodland wildlife to observe
and a beautiful stream to explore. Old &
young alike will be catered to with "back to
nature leisurely fun." Taking century old
barns and log cabins, we have reconstructed
them into a mini-resort. Using hand hewn
beams, rough sawed lumber, weathered
boards and hand quarried limestone – we offer
evidence of an earlier era so that guests can
relax and enjoy themselves in a rustic hideaway.
Our beautifully appointed rooms, each
individually decorated & filled with antique-style
furniture, have private jacuzzi
baths, private entrances and living rooms.
The mornings are filled with the aromas of a
full farm breakfast served in our log and
stone dining room.
